Pit stops is a super fun ripable right with a barreling take off section and a running wall for easy turns for beginner surfers. Experienced surfers will enjoy the rampy air section. The reef isn’t dangerous, and this is probably the most fun wave on Masokut. Only five minutes walking from the guesthouse. The «boss» scoring barrel in his favorite playground.

Prisne water, wonderful beach, mellow wave with fun sections, this is a tiny piece of paradise for sure. Beginners will be so happy here, and it’s great for an afternoon wind down session.

The place to be when the swell is too small for Ebay or pitstop

This mellow right can offer a good barrel section, and long walls for turns.
Also, for more adventurous surfers two slabs, a right and a left will produce big barrels and adrenaline.

For chargers only, medium or large South swells will create huge and long barrels in a shifty and challenging lineup. This is a famous, world class wave. 40 minutes walking access from our homestay. Bank vault can handle giant swells but be careful of it’s massive lip! It’s a proper deep water reef that breaks hard and fast.
Several flight daily from Kuala Lumpur to Padang.
The Mentawai fast ferry from Padang will bring you to Siberut on tuesday ,thursday and Saturday mornings.
The ferry costs 530 000 rupiah with a board bag and the trip takes 3 hours. We will meet you at the Siberut harbour and drive you to Masokut island for 1,5 million rupiah for up to 5 guests. The trip takes 1 hour. You must also pay the mentawai surf tax which cost 1million rp per surfer.
We suggest you stay a minimum of 10 days on the island to maximise the chance of scoring the wave of your life!
